It may seem like we are making a bold claim by stating it’s easy to prevent Type 2 diabetes. It’s normal for opinions to differ, and many might disagree on this matter. But there are several reasons why this type of diabetes is not only preventable but also one remarkably easy to prevent. When you receive a diagnosis of Type 2 diabetes, it may seem like it was inevitable. What you may buy into is the idea this form of diabetes is largely a hereditary disease, or your ethnicity makes you more vulnerable to it by nature. But while these are contributing factors to the development of Type 2 diabetes, they are never primary factors. And as such, they do not deserve your full attention – especially because there is nothing you can do about them. It is futile to focus on what you cannot influence or control.
